CORAL GABLES, Fla. – The University of Miami women's golf team opens its 2018-19 season on Saturday, as it travels to East Lansing, Mich., to take part in the 35 th annual Mary Fossum Invitational. This year's event will be held at the par 72, 6,334-yard Forest Akers West Golf Course. The tournament will consist of 54 holes over a two day stretch, with 36 holes played on Saturday. Tee times will begin at 8:30 a.m. On Saturday, with a 9 a.m. Shotgun start on Sunday.

Live scoring for the tournament will be available at. Miami enters the 2018-19 season, after making its sixth straight trip to an NCAA Regional under head coach, where the team finished tied for 15th.

The Hurricanes return four starters from last season, including,,. In the final 2017-18 Golfstat rankings, Miami finished 38th and will battle four top-40 schools in East Lansing.
