I have a TotalTV NDS Card, with the same Problem, the Card works only with 3.3V and I´ve nearly destroy the Card after 5sec in the internal reader of DM500plus. Now i have order a DM800 and a Smargo reader to try this out. Are you 100% positive that the Smargo reader has a '3.3 or 5v auto detected' mode??? I never heard about this before, you are the only one who posted that info about Smargo.
